Orchestra Auditions
Rochester Symphony is holding auditions on Saturday, June 27th for the following positions:
- Assistant Principal Second Violin
- Section Violin
- Principal Horn
Important Information:
- A CV/Resume must be submitted with all audition forms.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. - Submission Deadline is June 22.
- Applicants selected to audition will be notified with an assigned time by end of day on June 23.
- On the application below, please submit any conflicts or time constraints in your schedule on June 27.
Applicants not selected for a contracted position will be considered for our substitute list.

Rochester Symphony utilizes a blind audition process to ensure a high level of equity. Candidates will play behind a screen for a panel including the Music Director and several orchestra musicians.
