DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT
Job Summary
The Director of Marketing and Audience Development has primary responsibility for planning and executing all marketing, promotional, public relations, and communication programs in support of building audiences and raising awareness of Rochester Symphony. This position also gathers feedback and knowledge about current and future audiences to gauge impact and to more efficiently and fully meet the mission of the organization.

Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant reports directly to President/CEO, but also works closely with other staff including Music Director and Director of Marketing and Audience Development. They ensure smooth day-to-day operations and support the mission of Rochester Symphony through assisting artistic and administrative leadership. Average of 20 hours per week with occasional additional nights/weekends possible and an opportunity for future growth within the organization. Applicants are welcome to also apply for the open Stage Production Manager position and/or the Marketing and Audience Development position if more hours are desired.

Job Summary
While the Stage Production Manager reports to the President/CEO, they also work closely with the Music Director and with musicians to plan stage equipment sourcing and to implement rehearsal and concert stage management including set-up and breakdown of equipment for rehearsals and performances. This role requires attention to detail, timely and professional communication, the ability to meet deadlines and to make decisions in sometimes stressful moments of live performance. Hours are highly variable, with approximately 10-30 hours during event weeks only.
