STOCKS & SECURITIES

Support Rochester Symphony with a tax-wise gift; make a gift of appreciated stocks or other securities. You will receive a charitable deduction for the full market value of the security on the day of the gift - without paying tax on the amount that the security has appreciated in value since you purchased it.

HONORARY & MEMORIAL GIFTS

Honor a loved one with a gift of support in their name. This meaningful way of honoring or remembering a loved one through a donation or musician chair sponsorship in their name will be acknowledged in our concert season program book listings, and the honoree will be notified of your gift in their name.

When completing the donation form, there will be fields to indicate the name of the person you wish to honor and acknowledge with your gift.

Make a Gift

MATCHING GIFTS

Many companies offer matching gift programs, giving you the opportunity to help direct your company’s philanthropic dollars toward the organization of your choice. Your company receives a tax deduction for each match but you get the donor credit.

Check with your company’s human resources office for participation requirements! Rochester Symphony will happily complete any matching gift forms or provide needed to your HR department.
